EcomGuide Privacy Policy

Scope and developer

This policy applies to EcomGuide, the offline e-commerce education app published by ECOMGUIDE LLC. It covers the Android app identified as online.ecomguide.app, including its bundled guides, margin calculator, and launch checklist.

Information the app handles

EcomGuide does not require an account and does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. It does not upload names, email addresses, financial information, device identifiers, search queries, calculator inputs, or checklist selections to us or to a third party.

Calculator inputs, guide searches, and checklist selections are processed temporarily in memory on your device. They are not saved to a database, file, cloud service, or user profile. Closing or restarting the app clears this temporary state. Bundled guides, fonts, and images are stored with the app so its features and this policy work offline.

Advertising, analytics, and permissions

This version has no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting service, account sign-in, in-app purchases, or tracking integrations. It does not request access to your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, media, advertising ID, notifications, or shared storage. The Android release does not have Internet permission.

Your device operating system and Google Play may process information independently under their own privacy policies. EcomGuide does not control those independent platform services.

Optional external links

When you choose a source link in a guide, Open website, or a contact link, your device opens an external browser or email app. No calculator inputs, checklist selections, search terms, or identifiers are attached to these links. EcomGuide does not embed websites in a web view.

External websites and email services can receive information you choose to provide, as well as information normally involved in visiting a website, such as your IP address. Those services have their own privacy practices. The EcomGuide website is separate from the offline app; website forms and purchases are not required to use any app feature.

Security, retention, and deletion

App inputs remain in device memory and are protected by your device's operating system. We receive no app inputs and hold no server-side copy to retain, restore, or delete. Restart the app to clear temporary inputs, or clear app storage or uninstall it to remove its local files. There is no app account to delete.

If you contact us voluntarily, we use the information in your inquiry only to respond and address your request. We retain correspondence only while needed to handle that request or meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may request deletion of correspondence through the contact details below; we will explain any records that must be retained.

Children

EcomGuide provides business education and is not designed for children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from any user. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through a separate support inquiry.

Changes to this policy

If app data practices change, we will update this policy, the in-app copy, and the Google Play Data safety declaration before releasing the affected version. The effective date above identifies this policy revision.
